Street Parade Inspired My Track Blaze and Bloom

Zurich turned into one giant dancefloor again this year, and I was right there in the middle of it — Street Parade 2026 was as loud, colorful, and relentless as ever. Hours of deep basslines rolling through the city streets left a mark, and it didn’t take long before that energy found its way into a new DJ MaiTRX track.

A Day on the Street

There’s nothing quite like dancing shoulder to shoulder with thousands of strangers as the trucks roll past, each one blasting its own flavor of house, techno, or trance. The official aftermovie captures a good slice of that atmosphere — floats, crowds, and a city fully given over to the music.

From the Street to the Studio

Walking home that night, the rhythm was still running through my head. That rolling groove and the golden-hour energy of the crowd became the seed for Blaze and Bloom — a deep house track built around that same warm, driving pulse. It’s my attempt at bottling a small piece of what Street Parade feels like from the inside.

Why It Matters

Live events like Street Parade are a reminder of why electronic music works in the first place — the shared rhythm, the collective release. Even as an AI-assisted producer, that human experience on the street is still where the inspiration starts.
