DJ MaiTRX is a personal experiment in melodic house production, using AI music generation tools as an instrument rather than a shortcut. The name blends a personal initial with AI, for the AI-generated process behind every track, and TRX, for tracks — with a nod to being a longtime fan of The Matrix, whose title the name echoes. The sound draws inspiration from artists like Korolova, Layton Giordani, and Miss Monique: atmospheric, emotive, built for slow builds and deep pulses rather than peak-time drops.

Under the Sun: The Debut Track

The first release, “Under the Sun,” is a summer-leaning melodic house anthem at 126 BPM — a rolling bassline, soaring synth hooks, and chopped vocal chants built for pools, rooftops, and that last hour before sunset turns to neon. It is a deliberately warm, festival-leaning opener for the project, setting the tone for what is meant to be a growing catalogue rather than a one-off.

Built With the bacher-ai Pipeline

“Under the Sun” was produced using the music generation pipeline built as part of bacher-ai.com, a self-hosted, privacy-first AI stack. The pipeline runs on Venice AI’s generative audio models, orchestrated through a set of automated workflows rather than a single point-and-click tool — a style prompt and structured lyrics are submitted together, and the model generates the finished track in one pass, pulled directly into the workflow rather than downloaded from a third-party app. This particular track was generated with MiniMax Music 2.6, the pipeline’s current model for lyric-driven songs.

Consistent with how AI-assisted content is handled elsewhere on this site, the process is disclosed rather than hidden — the goal was to explore what a solo, self-hosted approach to music production could sound like when AI handles the instrumentation and a human handles the direction and editing.
